Winning the Positive Role Model award in the Cape region category 3 at the Gender Mainstreaming Awards was an unexpected honour. The awards were presented by Business Engage and sponsored by Accenture.
Being among so many accomplished women was deeply inspiring. Sharing space with dozens of women who are all making incredible contributions in business, industry and community proved truly moving, particularly given the various obstacles these professionals navigate daily.
While recognition holds value, its impact is temporary. The genuine source of inspiration lies elsewhere: the enormous and ongoing opportunity we have to affect positive change by simply being part of South Africa's community.
Meaningful difference-making emerges through leveraging our individual skills and passions, as widespread demand for upliftment persists. Here's to continued effort toward greater impact.
