Swim for Hope.
Carina founded Swim for Hope to merge extreme swimming with advocacy — daring solo crossings of some of the world's most treacherous waterways, each turned into a fundraiser for children affected by cancer, abuse and inequality.
Hundreds of thousands of rands have been raised through direct and partnered campaigns, with media features amplifying those messages around the world.
